Why We Started Adili Chess Academy

Adili Chess Academy was born from a deep passion for chess and a vision to transform young lives in Kenya. The word "Adili" means "fair" and "just" in Swahili — values we believe chess teaches naturally.

Having competed in numerous national and international tournaments, including representing Kenya abroad, we saw firsthand how chess builds character. We witnessed children develop patience, strategic thinking, and an unshakeable confidence that carried over into their academics and daily lives.

We founded Adili Chess Academy to make this transformative experience accessible to every child in Kenya, regardless of their background.
